During my travels today,

I spotted some clover,

still hanging on.

A touch of purple ,

against a background,

of green.

So serene ,

in the field

I just wanted to,

sit in the field

and look upon,

the Mountain.

To take in the rays of Sunshine,

with winter so close. In the field

under shadow of the Mountain.

This Morning brought our first snow.
I got up to this view.
Whitehorse peeking through
the cloulds. With our first
snowfall.
I got out my camera, of course,
and took a drive down 530,
first stop , Ash road for this view.

Next stop at the end of the road.

Then I stopped at C-post, Jesse passed me
driving his yellow truck.

While I was taking this picture .

All in all I had a good day,
the sun was out after the first
snow, and I was able to take
some fall pictures.

Today I woke up to the sound ,
of raindrops.
I think our luck is running out.
The warm days we have been
having are coming to a end.
I am not ready for rain !
But to each day ,
I do find beauty even in the rain.
This spider web looked ,
so beautiful with the dew drops ,
hanging from the web,
I got my camera out ,
to capture it's Essence.
The spider long gone,
made me think of the story
Charlotte's Web. As I had gone out
to feed the animals, there was no note, just the rain drops saying,
winter is coming.

Today I woke up to a beatiful day.

The Mountain was peeking through

the clouds, and everthing was sunny,

and bright. I knew it was going to be

a good day. I got my camera out,

and just started taking pictures.

In the backyard ,

I glimpesd one dew

drop, on a leaf turned

red ,by the cooler nights,

a sure sign that fall is here.

Then took a drive through the countryside

to Kristy's house . A beatiful drive, the sun was out, and visited with her.

I was very happy to see her.

She was under the weather,

just having had her tonsils out.

On the drive home,

I finally stopped and took a picture
of this Red Barn.

A picture I have been meaning to
take for years.

Today was a good day.

The Old Ford Trucks

Near the Oso Store

I guess these were built ,
Ford Tough,
the green one ,
has been his family ,
since it was new.
They consider it
family Heritage.
The Family has placed them
near the road so people
can photograph them.
I stopped and knocked on there
door to get permission to go
into there flield and take pictures of
them. I will be photographing them
through the seasons. Foggy morning's ,
Snow and etc as the seasons change.
Plus I plan on using one of the pictures
for a watercolor, or make a set as the
season's change.
I am looking forward to seeing
the trucks on my drives,
down the hill.

First Red Truck

Second Red Truck

Well I painted a new watercolor ,

this weekend .

another view of Mat Pater's Grandfathers' Truck
that sits in his backyard.

I remember when his grandfather
use to drive this truck all over

town.

It's has so much character, the older trucks.
Just have such a unique look.

Here's a collection of Photos
I have taken in the last month ,
interesting subject matter.
I just love the past ,
and old truck's and old tractors.
Plus my favorite Draft Horse's , these were taken at the Fair.
and the others pictures
taken around town.

Mimi 's

granddaughter

Mimi is gone, but her daughter had 2 kittens that resemble her. They are curious and very cautious . Today they were out in the front yard. I got down on my knees on crawled around until I was able to get some pictures of them.

Kittens

Eyes so big

Fur so soft

so cute

so curious

so cautious

you just

want to

hug them

hold them

play with them.

Fall

is arriving

on the cool

night's.

It brings a change of color,
a beauty only seen when the night's are crisp,
and the sunlight golden in the evening.

Kim and her Dad at Blackmans lake.

Boat on Snohomish River leaving at Dusk.

One of the many fish caught.

On Saturday we went to see Kim, and we went into downtown Snohomish , we walked down the sidewalk next to the River. Where the river was full of people fishing from the bank, and in boats. Fish were jumping everywhere in the river, everyone was catching a fish. We stayed untill dusk, Jess through a line in. But was unlucky . But I got some beatiful picutes.

Before we went to the River we went to Blackmans Lake,

and there were some Canadain geese ,

on the lake that I got a few shots of.

People under the Bridge on the Snohomish River at dusk.

The fish were biting on pink lures.

In the last 2 weeks these , are my latest watercolor's.
Another picture for my Zoo collection.
The Giraffe , 2 more pictures for my River collection. A fish ( humpy steehead ) and another of Travis fishing on the big rock. Waiting for a bite.

The Fair

On Tue September 4 th My friend Denise and I took Lee's 2 daughters to the fair.

They got to ride some of carnival rides.

We also went into the Display building's and looked at the Art,
sewing and many other displays.

We took the Kids to see the pig races, quite entertaining .

To watch the pig's run.

Later we went into the Horse Barns and looked at the Horse's,

and watched the Draft Horse's in the Big Arena.

It was a good day at the fair.
